The Canniesburn Practical Course on the use of Flaps in
Reconstructive Microsurgery - 2012

Monday 3rd September - Friday 7th September 2012
The Course will consist of practical
anatomical dissections, lectures and panel discussions covering a variety
of reconstructive techniques including skin flaps, fascial flaps, muscle
flaps, musculocutaneous flaps and free tissue transfer. The emphasis will
be on the surgical anatomy and technical aspects of raising and using
flaps in various parts of the body. The Course will be held in the Anatomy
Department of the University of Glasgow and the Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit,
Glasgow.
Participation will be limited to 30 and
confirmation of a place is secured on receipt of the course fee.
Accommodation
Accommodation is available on request. Transport will be
provided for those staying at the course hotel to the Anatomy Department
and the Canniesburn Unit throughout the week.
All course participants are invited to a Welcome Dinner on
the Monday evening to meet fellow participants and tutors in an informal
manner. There will be a final Course Dinner on the Thursday evening.
Course Fee
The Course fee is £1,150. Confirmation of a place on the course is secure
only on receipt of the fee and early payment is therefore advised.
